Martin Kohlberger
is an architect and research and teaching assistant in the design studio. Martin studied architecture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna and the ETH Zurich as well as philosophy at the University of Vienna. For his thesis, he researched fixed-term rental contracts in Zurich and is currently working on how to improve the legal status of housing that is at risk of demolition. Martin has been architect and urban designer at Denkstatt sárl since 2025. He is also part of the architecture collective 20kmh and is politically active, campaigning for the fair distribution of financial and natural resources. In June 2025, he joined the Chair of Architecture and Territorial Planning as part of the teaching team.
