Raquel Jerobon
is an urban planner, designer and a Doctoral Fellow at the Landscape and Urban Studies Institute (LUS) at ETH Zurich. Her research examines nature conservation processes in the Maasai territories of Kenya to question the logics of conservation, tourism, and urbanisation processes subsuming other forms of existence and worldmaking. Her research places everyday practices of being as critical spaces to theorise and from which to see the world. She co-organised the Department of Architecture Research Day in June 2025 and co-curated the Sessions on Territory x LUS Talks in the Spring of 2026 on Conservation. Previously, she has taught planning and design studios and theory courses at The Technical University of Kenya in Nairobi integrating these and other themes into studio explorations.
